Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information we collect at builtkept.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. Short version: we collect the minimum needed to deliver your files and emails you asked for, and we never sell your data.
1. What we collect
- Purchases: when you buy, our payment partner Lemon Squeezy (merchant of record) collects your email, name, billing country, and payment details to process the order and deliver your files. We receive your email and order details — never your card number.
- Email signup: if you download a free guide or join our list, we collect your email address through our email provider, Sender.net, with double opt-in confirmation.
- Website analytics: our host may log standard technical data (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and performance.
2. How we use it
- To deliver your purchase and download links, receipts, and product updates.
- To send the emails you signed up for — free guides, homeowner tips, and occasional offers. Every email includes an unsubscribe link that works instantly.
- To respond when you email support@builtkept.com.
3. Who we share it with
We never sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers that make the store work:
- Lemon Squeezy — checkout, payments, tax handling, and file delivery.
- Sender.net — email list management and sending.
- Netlify — website hosting.
Each provider processes your data under its own privacy policy and applicable data-protection agreements. If advertising measurement is active, limited event data is also shared with Meta — see section 4.
4. Analytics & advertising measurement
We may use either or both of the following, and each one operates only when it has been configured — when it is not configured, no script from that provider loads and no data is sent to it:
- Plausible Analytics — privacy-first, aggregate website statistics. It sets no cookies and does not collect personal data or track you across websites.
- Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram) — used to measure the performance of our advertising. When active, it does use cookies and similar technologies and shares event data (such as page views, signing up for the free guide, and starting a checkout) with Meta, which may be used for ad measurement and targeting. We never send Meta your name, email address, or purchase contents.
You can opt out of interest-based advertising through your Meta ad preferences, via your browser's cookie and tracking-protection settings, or by using a tracking blocker. Blocking these tools does not affect your ability to browse the site, buy, or receive your files.
5. Cookies
builtkept.com sets no cookies of its own. Cookies may nonetheless be set by third parties in two cases: the Lemon Squeezy checkout uses cookies strictly required to complete your purchase, and the Meta Pixel — if and only if it is active (see section 4) — uses advertising cookies. Plausible, if used, sets none.
6. Your rights
You can unsubscribe from emails at any time (one click, instant). You may also request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing support@builtkept.com. Depending on where you live (e.g., GDPR in the EU, CCPA in California), you may have additional rights, which we honor.
7. Data retention & security
Order records are kept as required for tax and accounting purposes. Email list data is kept until you unsubscribe. We use reputable providers with industry-standard security; no method of transmission is 100% secure, but we minimize what we collect in the first place.
8. Children
Our products and website are intended for adults and are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
9. Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above. Material changes will be noted on this page.
